A rose by any other name would smell as sweet. This isn’t a show about the gym. You might look at me and think that’s what it would be about. But this show is bigger than that. Is fitness a part of it? Sure. But only a slice. We’re going to talk about life, business, mental health, relationships, success stories and shortcomings. This show is built upon the pillars by which you should strive to live your life: Authenticity. Radical Accountability. Relentless Pursuit. I’m Andrew Steven Rose. I’m a 41 year old dad, business owner, and coach. In 20+ years of coaching, I’ve realized that my passion lies not with training, but building stronger humans - inside and out. Life is a dream, and we’re only here for a short time. So why not make it the most amazing f*cking dream you’ve ever had?

Episode 008 - Cody McBroom

If you would have asked me even a few weeks ago what I truly thought of online coaches, I would have given you a very blunt and honest assessment of the current crop of online gurus.
Here's what I would have said:
They're all bullshit.
Then I spoke with Cody McBroom. This guy knows his shit, to say the least. He's an incredibly knowledgable trainer in his own right, but transitioned into a mainly online platform for delivering his programming.
I must say that after sitting down with him, my eyes are opened a little wider than they were before. If only we could get to a point where online coaches were of this caliber.

Episode 007 - Jim Wendler

Babe Ruth didn't step on the field to not swing for the fences. When I set out to start a podcast, I reached out to everyone who, in my humble opinion, was a legend in their own right. This episode is no less of an example as those that came before. Jim Wendler is an enigma. Why on earth would he agree to take part in a podcast with someone who he's never met nor heard about? Simple. He doesn't market himself. Why? He's Jim Wendler. He wrote 5/3/1, among other things. Powerlifter, strength coach, mentor, and industry leader. He's not really a fan of social media, either. He's too busy doing what he was put on this planet to do: train.
Here's a fun fact about this episode:
It was recorded in my bathroom. My computer was on my sink and my chair was...well...yeah.
At least it's not a video.
